No Medical Exam Needed to Purchase Hearing Aids
While we encourage a proper relationship between you and a medical professional, you do not need a medical exam to purchase a hearing aid from us. The FDA grants you the right to waive a medical exam. The following paragraph is the statement that the FDA requires that you agree to when purchasing hearing aids online.
Waiver to Medical Evaluation Requirements: This is to inform you that the Food and Drug Administration has determined that it is in your best health interest to obtain a medical evaluation by a licensed physician, who specializes in diseases of the ear; then to be tested by an audiologist, or hearing aid dispenser utilizing established procedures and instrumentation in the fitting of hearing instruments. Ordering a hearing instrument from this Website constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of this Waiver to Medical Evaluation Requirements.
What is the warranty/extended warranty on your hearing aids (our warranty extends the manufacture's warranty to a total of a year year)?
Our Hearing Aids are 100% covered against defects in materials and workmanship for One Year from the day you receive you your order (you just pay the shipping).
If at our examination it is determined that the unit failed to work due to parts, materials, or workmanship we will repair or replace it.
After a year we will try to make a basic repair (see below for definition) your hearing aid for free (you just pay the shipping).
Our warranty does not cover lost hearing aids.

FDA Classification:
All our hearing aids are manufactured as hearing aids for the purpose of helping you hear better.
However, in the United States the FDA requires "Hearing Aids" to have a serial number and the manufacture to be registered with the FDA.
If not, they are considered "Sound Amplifiers".
Siemens/Signia, Phonak, and New Sound are registered with the FDA and contain a serial number.
DR Paul brand hearing aids are considered SOUND AMPLIFERS by the FDA.
Legal Actions
Customer agrees that courts and laws of Chester County, PA will be the controlling and only Court/law for all legal actions.
Repairs for life:
Repairs for life are basic repairs only. Customer pays shipping both ways. Abuse and miss used hearing aids are not eligible.
Basic Repair:
Repairs that are made without opening unit. Parts may not be included. Customer pays shipping.
